UE Boom 2 also stellar. Mine has taken everything life has thrown at it, is reliable, battery life is good, sounds good. Were it to always live in the house I'd have been tempted by the Bose, but I have used mine to work out, ride, picnic, beach, pool etc. It's been dropped, soaked, stormed upon, muddied and hosed down, and still functions and sounds great. As far as consumer electronics go, UE really nailed it, I actively recommend it to people at any chance I get.
