in the back end of 2014 I did an alleycat style checkpoint race in manchester that was about 11 miles and about 6 crossfit challenges, 3 hill climb challenges and a sprint competition which ran from about 9pm -> 1am
we arrived about 2pm and went for food, I ate fully loaded bacon cheese fries, a 'shut up america' burger which was every thing american you can think to put in a burger with an oreo ice cream sandwich on a skewer stuck in the top and 2 pints.
how i survived that run I do not know. the worst was when it had finally been digested and was requesting I let it back out while running around full-tilt and completely lost in the middle of manchester at 11pm on a saturday night in running kit.
would probably do it again though (the meal that is, but also the race which was amazing fun).
