    It would be 20 km at 10%. That means it could be marginal.

    Edit 2 - just looked back at my route options from last year to compare:

    • 20km to save 1000m+ via Loire valley in France
    • 135km to save 3235m in Italy.

    Sounds like it is better value than going into Italy was last year, but not quite as good as the Loire valley. On that basis, I'd say it was worth considering (depends on other stuff like road quality nature of climbing, etc).
