Sabbath Brummy Sabbath Vol 2 - Birmingham Tournament

Volume 2 of Sabbath Brummy Sabbath is down for Saturday August 19th and Sunday 20th.

A two-day tournament, with 12 x ABC teams.

FORMAT
5 rounds of swiss on day one
2 more rounds of swiss on the morning of day two
followed by a top 8 double elim bracket
And if we have time a bottom four DFL playoff.
10 minute games
Team vests provided
Probably a trophy
Definitely beers

LOCATION and ACCOMMODATION

We'll be playing at The Yard. part of a college campus with concrete walls on three sides and a steel fence at one end, toilets and secure parking. We book the court out so get it all to ourselves. It's also only a 10 minute ride from city centre train stations

There will be some way of partying on the Saturday night which will hopefully involve a BBQ. we'll have floor space for everyone, just bring a sleeping bag. Please note which days you want to stay when registering.

12 teams means 36 people in total and once registration is opened only players who have paid will have a confirmed slot. If it's over-subscribed we'll have a waiting list and confirm with people one week before the tournament.

Registration fee is £10 per player which covers the cost of the court hire and the team vests. Any left overs will be spent on beers/BBQ food.
