I have recently bought a brand new pair of Miche Pistard wheels.
Whilst these are track-specific wheels, I have used them on the road. To date, I have used them only twice and on both occasions, I have punctured in both wheels. 4 punctures in 2 rides.
I have checked the tyres (Vittoria Corsa) and there are no issues with them. I am using standard Conti tubes and have already replaced the rim tapes. Additionally, there is nothing sharp in the rims so I am baffled by the amount of punctures.
Has anyone had any similar experiences? Are they just not robust enough for the road? Is it best to sell them and replace them with something more road-specific?
