Do the sprinters really have that hard a time doing the climbs? I'm guessing they must be carrying more weight in terms of muscle than the all out hill climbers and GC riders.
On a day like today it's pretty straightforward for them, get to the foot of the final climb with the peloton, then sit up and cruise to the finish.
It's on stages like Sunday's where they'll really suffer.
+1 Not sure today will be significant yet.
Alot of effort put in by BMC, Im sceptical of Porte being able to keep the yellow if he gets in it.
