I've watched the videos, I've seen the photos. I don't think it is a DQ.
They collided, Cav looks like he did his bargy thing, Sagan looks like he was unaware Cav was going to be there (and barging), they collide, Sagan is unbalanced and throws arm (elbow) out to balance a fraction... but Cav had already lost it by that point and was already going down. I'm not even convinced that Sagan's elbow made contact, but from some angles it looks bad.
Cav's defence when he's been a shit in the past was always "photos don't tell the story" and "at those speeds".
Frankly I think that is reasonable and should also be Sagan's defence.
It's tough, and would feel unfair to us (mostly Cav fans) for Sagan to stay when Cav is knocked out... but sometimes shit happens and it's just shit happening. No real blame to be apportioned, so how can one DQ?
