He was asked in an interview of the steps of the medical bus what he thought of the DQ - said it was the first he had heard of it and it was really up to the race jury. Pretty tactful and un Cav like, especially having just found out you have a broken shoulder and are out the tour.

Ah yes that's what I saw the picture of, didn't think I'd dreamt it.
He's got a lot better at not shooting his mouth off to be fair. Same with his comments on it being a racing incident but he didn't appreciate the elbow. I feel like old Cav would have been angry and given him a savaging, I think it's something he's been consciously working on.
Ah. Thanks. What I'm confused about is in my mind there was footage of injured Cav riding to the line after he'd been treated. Did I imagine that?
