It's not precisely about Jolene or Miley but definitely about the melodies... "andante con moto" Alfredo would have said.

I've seen the slot on more than one Gioseses. I don't know the reason but i therefore think it's done by Gios

Only if 'Gios' has a Latin route.

Absolute can of worms here regarding plurals. Where to start?
- Borrowed words don't have to retain the plurals from the source language
- Italian plurals are a bit more complex than adding "i" on the end of a word
- I just asked an Italian colleague and proper nouns like Gios wouldn't take a plural marker
- Words with Latin roots have been borrowed into most languages in the world, and so the plurals they take are incredibly varied.
TL;DR?
Call it what you like :)

Giosi are the riders. Also Giosers (occasionally Giossers)
Giossers in urban streetwear are called Gio Goi Giossers
I hope that's clear -

If you could edit post #32 to read:
'I've seen the slot on more than one Gios...'
We could ignore posts #33-38, and get on with our lives.
Just a suggestion.

I miss the fight earlier in this thread.
I was on Macrom's side. Anyone who answers a query about why he's selling in two places with 'More chances to collect stupid questions' is a hero to me.
Also, I like his bike. -

It was done in-house at Gios on their first Compacts. The seat pin wasn't able to close properly because it was too stiff without it.

I think these later more modern Gios' used a cast cluster that would of had slot already 'moulded'{well, cast}in and not drilled and slotted as per trad frame building and incredibly stiff and prob refused to close up the gap when binder bolt tightened, stunning bike, great price never thought i'd say that about a Gios/Shimano marriage
I don't know why... maybe different batch... Italians, different era... working in progress... artisanal mentality and efficiency... 2017 people get stuck... etc etc
High res pic means macro lens, I don't have.
Bothered enough.
You're friendly, though.
