Any chance of a rider protest?
From the sounds of it he is relatively well liked in the pelaton, but most riders hoping to win a stage are probably relieved that Sagan is out.
If Sagan was without blame them I think a rider protest is more likely. But he definitely shut the door on Cavendish and took him into the barriers, so a punishment is deserved, and it's unlikely, in my view, that the riders will unite to protest the sentence.
So what, this is it? Not a single person on here has even the slightest hope this gets overturned and Sagan shows up at the start line later today?
