Not really. Just being cynical. I agree though. The judges got this wrong by banning sagan

don't be daft

That was my first thought that he'd gone down too easily. Don't think Sagan comes over too bad with regards to the elbow. Not sure about taking Cav's line/space line though. I'll watch some replays for a few hours and see what's what.
Gutted if Sagan can't appeal.

It's certainly stirred a debate.

Will Greipel stand behind his comment or is he already regretting?
-
• #509
There's no need to get the knives out for Cav, he's no fucking Angel but he didn't make the decision the commissaires did. Cav wasn't even that critical of Sagan. The guy is out of the Tour too ffs

I wonder if it was retribution for wearing those goggles yesterday.
-
• #511
I saw a comment on the story at cyclenewsthat blamed Cav for coming to the Tour ill and unfit and that made him dangerous so it was his fault somehow. Incredible leap of logic
-
• #512
I dunno but I would quite enjoy seeing a dust up between the two
-
• #513
Maybe a combination of this and the second crash... he looks to have some strange lines here, unlike him
-
• #514
Cav currently having an MRI scan, may have a CT scan Daniel Friebe just tweeted
-
• #515
I'm pretty sure there are some expert doctors on here who could help with the diagnosis.
-
• #516
I'm really worried about his head then.
-
• #517
Might be one of those things you say and almost instantly regret. Especially since Sagan got DC shortly after.
-
• #518
Could be checking for tiny fractures, but I imagine his head took a knock too.
-
• #519
Give me two examples of Cavendish's transgressions in the Tour.
-
• #520
Perhaps, but Greipel already had beef with him by the sounds of it.
-
• #521
Yeah, cos crashing at 70 km/h is a blast.
-
• #522
That was quite the mess. Gutted for Cav and Sagan.
-
• #523
It doesn't really look like Sagan's fault from this angle:

Awful situation, harsh outcome for both of them.
Cyclingnews comments though, Jesus! It's like the whole daily mail readership took up cycling for the day, and have mistaken Sagan for Princess Diana

No mention of being off-balance or, obviously, of doing it on purpose.
Cav coming quickly off his peg, didn't have time to react. Sagz says
Anyway, judges definitely got this wrong...
