That top down view seems to show Sagan having loads of space on his left.
-
• #428
Yeah that top footage makes it look pretty deliberate, but I'm no expert
-
• #429
The tree hid the very moment :(
-
• #431
Cav thinks the elbow questionable.
-
• #432
Mmmmm.... they make good remarks on Eurosport, Sagan did move from his line a lot. Dodgy one.
-
• #433
Yes, I agree that the elbow doesn't look like the cause. It looks incriminating from the overhead footage but not from the front.
-
• #434
Sagan's wife was in the tree apparently
-
• #435
Fair play Cav with that media scrum.
-

I think the Guardian might be on to something with this headline
"Mark Cavendish’s Tour could be over after heavy crash at stage four finish"
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/jul/04/mark-cavendish-crash-tour-de-france-stage-four

Yes, indeed
-

I need fresh ammo. You're too scarce these days so my inspiration has lulled. You were my muse sweetness, my muse!
-
• #439
So basically you're saying he's preying on the vulnerable?
-
• #440
that yellow jersey is doing nothing for Gs crashingness
-
• #441
Boring race turned into a great race. Who knew.
-
• #442
That's the TdF for you.
-
• #443
Gutted for Cav, not sure I can stay angry at Sagan for long though, he's normally such a lovely chap.
Just hearing Sagan has been docked 80 points
-
• #444
And 30 seconds

Looks pretty blatant from the front
-
• #446
That doesn't look good does it.
-
• #447
Yep. That was the initial camera view. It is the most incriminating looking view.
-
• #448
Well he has been relegated so I guess the judges decided it was unacceptable
-
• #449
No broken bones for Cavendish reportedly.
-
• #450
Looks absolutely deliberate from the front.
Watching it over and over, he nudged his elbow three times in total: first cos he was boxed in, then the second under the trees making space, then a third knocking Cav flying.
Yea it's a fucking huge elbow, but I couldn't see him look over his shoulder and wink as he did it, so...
