  • I've actually found the same thing with my cheaper cannondale carbon post. have to tighten it way over recommended to get it to stay put.

    Having ridden both a fair bit now I'm not convinced the 12 is much of an improvement over the 10. the fork flexes a lot in comparison, both under braking and heavy cornering.

  • Is your frame big or do you have a lot of spacers? Surely it's more likely that your wheels are flexing? I race my 54cm CAAD 12 and would probably stop doing so if I could detect the front fork flexing!

  • 54cm with about 10-15mm of spacers. It's not the wheels. I'm not saying its horrendously flexy, just that the 10 has a stiffer fork.

    I doubt i'd notice the difference road racing, but then I'm usually clinging on at the back anyway!
