• I have had this for a couple of years and recently had the saddle re covered in leather, changed the bar stem , brake levers and tape. Tyres are nearly new too. Rides like an arrow as the geomitary is 74 degree, which is quite 70s and 80s race angles. Wheels are not original, are not matching but are in good Order.

£150 collect in Surrey near Redhill.

  • I fitted new brake inner and outer cables when doing the bar tape, 2 weeks ago. This actually came from a French policeman near Poitiers. Kept at the station in good dry conditions, so it's in good form.

    £145 - only!

  • I've had one of these, they're really quite light and good value imo. The Weinmanns have neat little cable tensioners as well. GLWS :-)

  • I had a ratty 64cm one of those too. Really enjoyed having it until a cracked driveside chainstay did for the frame.
I still have the original Weinmann rims and Helicomatic hubs if you want to restore it : )

  • You've the hubs? In black? Was searching for these all over the place! The rear is great but front one has a massive flat spot (courtesy of the previous owner) which I've re-set but it's way from great. What would you be asking for the pair?

  • This is 58 c to c seat tube.

I Still have it, massive bargain at £140 only.

  • It's a real bargain. But I'm pretty much done for now, have two projects on the go! Cheers VintageJon and GLWS

  • Come on this is far better than the crappy Raleigh burner BMX bikes that are so precious. If you were a teenager or wannabe cool dude adult in 1987 this was the must have under £200 quid bike to have - if you didn't buy the Black version. Yes I thought they were crap when the flash kids with no idea rocked up at school ( coz I had a pink 531 Viking pro that Vaz refinished with mostly campag super record and cinelli m71 pedals) but now a bike in this condition needs to be appreciated. Make a respectable offer and you will have a great bit of British cycling heritage ( mass produced off the peg sort of!).
