Awesome game, definitely worth it.

I picked up dragon's dogma for a tenner. Not top tier graphics, but I've got a feeling (that is, read reviews) that it's a 'hidden gem.'

I also bought Deus ex again.

Just picked up the Zelda Twilight Princess HD pack for the Wii U, free wolf amiibo and OST CD for next to nothing... I've got a wolf pal for BOTW now... #dork

The Guardian amiibo actually looks like a solid purchase, drops ancient weapons and I've seen it on sale a few times, might pick one up... I'm sick of running around killing guardians to get more arrows to kill guardians...

Yeah, doom is in my basket. As is warhammz. But not sure if they're trigger pulling material. Would probably doom over TW for reasons of nostalgia.

Doom it is. Will pick it up when I get back from sitting in a carpark with a sleeping baby. Because that's what happens when we go out for walks now - he sleeps in the car so we end up just sitting in the carpark until we get bored lest we disturb him and ruin his chances of falling asleep later.

Re. doom, tbh I've just downloaded Exiled Kingdoms for Android and it's fucking great. Sunk more hours than I knew I had available to me into it.

not tried it yet but this is probably much easier than getting hold of the actual amiibos.

I've just started Doom. I'm doing it on hard which I think may have been a mistake, many restarts have been used.

I have an amiibo writable tag. Cost about £10 off of eBay. Saves having to buy a load of man toys to get in game items.

Why do Amiibo's exist? I saw Skylanders or some Disney game or something which sold characters that were essentially their own minigames, but I don't get what Amiibo's actually do.

Haven't fpsd in a while so went with Hurt Me Plenty. Just played about 30 seconds before nappy changing took over. I don't think I'll be able to play hardcore/no save modes ever again.

yeah me too. The last game I played through on hard was Bioshock Infinite, which was definitely hard but helped by the fact you could just sit behind cover while whats-her-name threw ammo to you.

Finished Max Payne a few days back on the easiest difficulty.

Fuck the harder settings.

1 or 2? Never got 3 to work on PC for me.

1, had an audio bug that needed fixing before it was playable.

Almost done with 2 now, a hell of a lot easier!

Not really interested in 3.

No film noir satire, no play. (Also, screw using a quarter of my computer's storage for 1 game)

Also, when I played it when it came out, I could never get past the end of act 1 boss. Eventually gave up. Was the only game I was simply not able to complete.

I remember giving up on Max Payne when I got stuck on the stupid fire room level.

I remember an airport shoot out being the furthest I got on 3, meant to go back to it but my pc died, I think that was near the end. Finished the other 2, but only on normal difficulty.

Doom so far is lots of fun but am only 10 minutes in. Suspect it will get a lot more varied in terms of monsters - only come across imps/possessed and soldiers I think. Will add that not remotely challenging at 'Normal' difficulty. Might quickly rush through in hard or v. Hard as it's a bit on rails at the mo and my new(ish) mouse is a dream for aiming.

Basically constant glory kills.

Sometimes hard feels alright, then you get hit by 1 Imp fireball and lose all your armour and half your health in one go.

It's gets more fun when the big bastards appear
