  • I have updated my touring bike for some fast rando.

    More

  • Now that's what my bike should look like! I'm copying that look.

  • disappointed .. I thought you'd copy one of mine

  • Rad. Those the 30c Challenge?

  • I'm taking inspiration from you for my son's first bike. Your genius will live on through him.

  • Slapped a TT setup on the Pursuit Champion - stem needs lowering and possibly lengthening. Feels fast.

Stuck some training wheels on for now. Thinking is to shift the original HHSB wheelsets to fund a HED 3 or Jet+.

  • Lucky enough to have a stack of spacers to get through first ;)

I'm sure we'll talk if it gets further than that...

  • Latest version of my fast commuter :)
Ex-pro AG2R frame in dedacciai 16.5 steel (by cyfac probably), complete dura ace 7800 groupset inc. hubs on open pro ceramic.

  • Just recovered this thing, when I'm home it's gonna get a rear disc brake, tubeless setup and some proper pedals.

  • Tubeless on a jump bike?

  • You're going to be blowing tyres off of rims constantly

  • Hi everyone... advice needed please.

I need a new rear hub for my road bike.
Requirements are - Available as new, silver, 130mm, 32h, campag 10 speed compatible, as 'fit-and-forget' as possible.
Royce, Phil, etc too expensive. I'm thinking £150 absolute max.

Hope seem good but maybe too expensive s well - although a cheap outlet recommendation might persuade me.
Condor Supremacy seem like amazing value but are they any good?... presumably rebranded something or others... Novatec?

    Suggestions please! Thanks.

  • What's number 2? It's got the same paint as a 'Raymond poulidor' badged bike I used to have. (Made by mercier).

  • Ambrosio zenith.

  • novatec. they do campag, they have good sealed bearings, easy to service and can be pretty darn light.

  • Postman came today, bearing wheels and I've managed to chuck most of it together while the toddler snoozes. Quite pleased with how this has come together, all things considered.

edit - i had actually bothered to put the ds crank at 3 o'clock but it looks like a rogue bumblebee spun them round while i wasn't looking.

  • Made a new (0.5mm HIPS, duct tape join, covered in auto wrap vinyl) disc cover for my shiny Dolan yesterday, after the previous cover (same ingredients, but with solvent-welded & reinforced join) warped in the heat over recent weeks.

  • That looks like an absolute weapon!

  • Cheers man - these look like the best choice for me... being as they are a bit like the old 10 speed Chorus things so will suit my groupset, and if they're good enough for Harry Rowland then they're good enough for me : )

Would still be interested to hear if anyone's got the Condor ones / know what they were before rebranding if anyone knows...?

  • DIY disc is a perfect match for the chainset, well done!
