Interesting theory, the tyres have loads of life and all went on at the same time along with laser alignment, HOWEVER the tyre in question has suffered a couple of sidewall/kerb incidents, there's a slash on the inside and a chunk out the outside. I know it should be replaced but money/time have been factors in doing it.
Could sidewall damage cause droning?
Droning noise coming from front nearside wheel, only replaced the bearing 2 years/less than 2000 miles ago. Is there anything that's not a bearing that could cause droning from one of the wheels? It's more of a noise this time, whereas before it was a definite grumbling.
