Well I'll know more when the chap gets back to me, a full, properly engineered conversion isn't going to be cheap - for one thing the electric motor will have a lot more poke than the 1.9 litre four that Citroen specified in 1966, so brakes will need to be upgraded to units that match, etc etc.
However, it will certainly be cheaper than a Tesla, and much more fun I think.
I await being told that I'm not allowed to spend £x on this due to some calculus of value apparent to those who study the relative value of nuts.
