Depends on how many IWCs are in there as they are something like £50k from what I can remember. I decided not to bid on what looked like a B-Uhr a while back which I saw in a job lot of crap watches on The Saleroom. Suspected it was a copy. Turned out to be an IWC as I know the guy who bought it.

Really? I has assumed that a perfect 1940s flight issued B-Uhr would have been more £s than that. Then again, I suppose they made a lot of them.

That was just off the top of my head. I don't tend to collect any German stuff, just British-issue. Also, those B-uhrs are bloody massive. I only ever collect things which I want to wear.

Yup. Overpaid by a penny. Glad the new battery was without cost. Actually that's just my desk, though the fading of my tattoos is somewhat blue-ish.

Was going to use it as a donor, for the hands etc, but I kinda like it.

Hands look like they've come off a Seiko...

They're the kinda hands I want in 120/70 on the Stendardo, unfortunately this is 110/60 according to spec sheet, so I can't use it as a donor.
