Is there a GPU in there too sir?
-
• #3
I'm afraid not... although if you wanted my 970 I'd let it go for 120 with all this gubbins.
-
• #4
is that the 2gb or 4gb version?
-
• #5
4GB EVGA SC, Bosh!
-
• #6
so are you saying 120 for the lot or am i way out lol
-
• #7
I worded it badly, 120 for the gpu on top of the original 100. 970 for £20? Caaaaaam on...
-
• #8
Could you post the models of the RAM, cooler and SSD (+capacity) please?
-
• #9
Oh and the motherboard more specific model number please!

Also not to hijack a thread here, but I do have:
Corsair GS800 PSU
Corsair Graphite 600TM Case (DVD drive included)- a shit ton of fans
which would pair up nicely with @chrisbmx116 bits..

Thats a CPU away from a computer... roll up roll up folks...

It's shitty, but I have an intel Pentium G3258 spare, if anyone needs a CPU for this. It has "GODCHIP" sharpied onto it, commemorating the time I (somehow) overclocked it to 6.3GHz
-
• #14
6.3?! Were you cooling with liquid nitrogen?
-
• #15
LFGSS budget hackintosh build! How much for the CPU actually? Might be interested as I could build this for a pal. My clearouts going well.
-
• #16
HOLD THE FUCK UP
I just saw this post. Does this mean that I set a world record?! I need to plug this CPU in and try reach 6.3 again what the fuck

Not what I expected to see here! Love it tho!!
I am await results of overclocking explosion

Same - I couldn't care less if my pentium explodes, though. It's stored in a box under a bed for a reason
Sorry for anotheeeeeeeeer OT, my constant slow clearout will feature bike parts at some point.
Just realised I have half a Hackintosh going spare. Cheap Gigabyte h81 Mobo, 8 gb ram, Samsung SSD (with Sierra installed), Noctura cooler, and Wifi/BT card. Just chuck in a CPU, case and PSU and you are good to go.
I would be happy to help with instal/build too if needed.
Not 100% sure what to ask for this. Maybe £100? another £150 on case and gubbins and you'd have a decent enough every day use machine...
