Come to lfgss for the bikes, stay for the education. I'd never heard of content marketing, I consider myself more enlightened now, cheers.

I no longer know what this thread is about.
Will either bike ever be finished?
Will my bike actually be ridden sooner than yours even though it was a full custom build and had to wait for Shimano to start shipping things? -
• #1416
Oh you!
This is not a place for sensible questions.

I am waiting on BB cable guide on the other one .. last week's ransomware attack has a role to play in the delay. It should be done next week.
This one (gold) will be finished tonight! Will be taken to local park to practice some CX skills on Sunday.
Priority is Etape/Alps on Emonda DA9070 > Summer CX on golden bike > finish the S&S bike for India trip in October.

What, that little bit of plastic? Every bike shop will have about 50 kicking around in the bottom of some drawers.

Wasn't this bike specifically for the Etape?

Is there a #testerapproved cable guide? Custom TIGged version with burnt finish? I personally use a style that was common on a lot of French bikes pre-WWII. Not a lot of people know about them, but they're objectively better than the ones you can get on modern bikes. I read it on a blog. I order mine from a company in Montana. If you want yours before October you'd better email now because there's a waiting list.

That is true but I discovered this on Saturday and ordered online.
Also waiting on fork crown and tool borrow from @Klar
October is still far away. I havent even bought tickets yet.
Once this is all built I will take it apart and measure for making the case.
