check it in person with your analytic knowledge and report back to the forum.
Or you could respond rationally and accept that it's a cause for concern and either post a hi-res close up and catalogue pic proving it's factory done. I owned a Gios Compact and it did not have a cut through the seat clamp cluster like that, if it did I wouldn't have bought it.
