I just think it's the brazen false confidence a troop of apes might indulge in if they're trying to discourage any incursions into their territory. Totally over the top and disproportionate to the actual position of weakness they find themselves in-May just seems to revel in petty, vindictive bullying behaviour as a substitute for actual strength or ability.
I'd love to host them all in a flammable hi-rise and arrange for sparklers to be handed out.
