I've not done this one before, so any version looks good. Looks better to get to than Otford so will probably ride out if work allows.

If I remember correctly Bower Lane is quite amazing to ride, although that was in daylight and in the other direction.

edit - actually I'm confusing it with Knath Valley Road.

Knatt's Valley is awesome to ride, from the top to the bottom. One of the longest continual descents I can remember near London. A total spin fest on fixed, of course.

No, the scary dog is half way up the hill on the way back.

I'm riding this, single speed, on Saturday but quite fancy doing Thursday as a reccy. If I come I'm bringing gears to prevent a repeat of last week's trauma.

Knee is still a bit fiddly after a lot of riding at the weekend. This means I'm gonna train out so if it plays up after 15 miles I only have 15 miles in which to manage it.
