10 rillington place,old, simple but creepy as hell. No souped up movie serial killer with complex motivation...based on a real case that led to the abolition of capital punishment in the UK.

Smokin' Aces was on TV the other night... Fuck me!

Had never heard of it so was surprised to see so many big names starring in it... I enjoyed it right up to the end where it got a bit shit IMHO, great popcorn movie...

It is just like pirates of the Caribbean but with robots. It's as if a load of people have devised some cgi action scenes and someone has just spliced them together. The wife pointed out the film could have been cut up and rearranged millions of different ways.

Blomkamp cooking something in his new Oats studios. So far he released two short films available on utub, steam, maybe on other streaming places and its looks amazing. Alien character design, technology, effects all wow.

Truth. Bland characters. Really found the soundtrack a bit shit.

Just watched two critically panned movies.

Batman v Superman was even worse than expected. No empathy with the main characters, hugely unrealistic, generally balls.

Suicide squad: Much better than I expected, bit of a superhero(villain) romp but all good fun. Could have just narrowed it down to Will Smith and Margot Robbie though, barely noticed the others.

DC is clearly trying to set up a whole universe but they're way behind Marvel who've done it very well.
