Lovely bike. With it being so perfect it's annoying the front hub is the wrong way round.

Many thanks for all the compliments regarding the bike.
I loved it too, that's why I bought it in the first place!
Wouldn't be looking to sell if it wasn't for impending house move..... :( -

Pedant Alert.....!! :)
The photo was just to show the rather beautiful laminated Carbon forks and was taken before I flipped the wheel.
Do you want to buy it then TM? You seem to be spending a lot of time looking at the photos?! hehe!! -

Woof. I'd love this. Like you though I'd be afraid to ride it. Glws!

Now £950 You could sell the groupset for more than this!!?
-
• #22
Must say I'm tempted for the groupset but then wonder what I'd do with another 'spare' frame
-

Sell it for £300 or more ?! Its unused. :)
Having said that, I would much rather someone kept the whole bike together in original condition, in memory of the original owner (sentimental old git that I am!)
But the longer it goes without selling it, and the more time I have to waste answering umpteen inane questions from various people the more I have to be realistic and think....I just need to get on & sell some of my bikes!!
(1 guy on LFGSS messaged me within 2 hrs of me listing it saying that they wanted it and they would pay the full price, only to drop out 7 hours later saying they "had had a change of heart, and sorry for wasting your time" another guy messaged 30 mins after the first one saying he "would definitely buy it from me, but would I accept the payments over 2 months?" and when I messaged him back to say I possibly would, or at least a deposit until he could afford the rest, I have never heard from him since...!!?
Another guy from Plymouth contacted me via ebay when it was previously listed on there a few weeks ago and asked 25-30 questions about the bike over 4-5 days, and on 2 different occasions stated he would be happy to pay the full price and he definitely wanted it. However he could never answer the phone when I called him, texting back that "his wife was always around and he wasn't allowed any more bikes, so he was doing it on the QT" After 3-4 times of me calling him and him never answering the phone but always texting back quite promptly, I decided I had had enough of being "catfished" and I was obviously being jerked around by teenagers, or someone who had a serious mental illness. (nothing to be laughed at mind but I had no idea that there were quite so many people with "problems of the mind" until I started trying to declutter my lifetimes hoarding by listing it for sale?!?!... )
Has anyone else been shocked by how many nutjobs there are in cyberspace? -

Luckily I don't have room for another bike, other wise I'd have bitten your hand off.

23" is waaaay too big for me, but bloody hell that groupset is gorgeous.
All exactly as it was when it left the shop. Still have original invoices showing the purchase price as £2,643 after a 10% discount, and after switching the original R2000 Ultegra componentry to Full Dura Ace. (see photo of receipt)
Just over 17 years old, ( is that too modern to be classed as " Vintage " ?!) but in almost totally unused NOS condition!
I was told it had only been ridden for under 30 minutes on a Turbo trainer indoors, and I have no reason to doubt that from the condition it's in.
Has since been stored indoors in heated house, first due to health problems of the original purchaser, and then due to me never daring to ride it and risk damaging it!
The only evidence I can see that it has ever been used is some slight scuffing on one crank where the original owner (with big feet!) has scuffed it slightly while pedalling on the turbo trainer.
Spec & Componentry
23 inch/58.5cm frame (centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube)
56cm top tube
Gun Metal Grey in Matt finish....for that stealth-type look! :)
Complete Dura Ace 25th Anniversary groupset. (even down to the chain, hubs, seat post and bottom bracket!)
18 gears (9 speed rear)
Cinelli Handlebars, Deda Stem, Deda 1000 Saddle, Deda Slice Carbon Forks, Velocity Aerohead Alloy wheels, Michelin Axial Bi-Sport Tyres.
Please contact me with any questions.
I LIVE 1 HOUR NORTH OF LONDON, BUT SHOULD BE ABLE TO DELIVER TO LONDON AREA, AS TRAVEL THERE ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK FOR WORK.
