Finally, a couple more DIY bits: a British Rail/Halifax (not the place) -inspired Garmin mount (for my phone that isn't a Garmin), and a spider fairing for the Miche Pistard Air crank (essential structural component, no sticky pads here!!).

was using a 3D printed plastic part to hold the DS bearing for a couple of years prior to having the aluminium one machined

Won't be making more; they were made as a favour/part of the deal for the sale of some cranks. I can email you a drawing you can give to a machinist, though.
EDIT: might look a bit weird on the outside, with a blocky part designed for another wheel, even if it fits OK on the inside.

do you even Dremel, bro?
(can email a template to print/stick/cut from 0.5mm carbon sheet. Attached with 3M VHB 5952, although it only weighs about 6g, so a handful of white sticky pads would probably do fine)EDIT: N.B. When DS crank is at 3 o'clock, air at zero yaw can pass around the bolt, between the back of the crank arm and fairing, 'into the void', presumably causing a momentary huge local increase in drag 20% of the time... Could fill the void with foam, or could be covered in little holes (to vent, and maybe to behave like Zipp dimples) to induce some turbulent something to smooth the laminar so-and-so. #thoughts!

That's all incredibly dope!

Awesome stuff! There should be a thread for this kind of in-house lfgss engineering...

Anyone know if this gear hanger is salvageable?

IMO it's unlikely it will get to perfect indexing (on anything above 8spd) again from that point. Worth a try, but I would take it to a shop where they can use a proper tool, but there's always a chance of snappage when it's bent that far. At least you've got an EBB so can SS/hub gear if the hanger is RIP.

I had a bad case of mech in wheel on a steel frame a few years ago and Woodrup were able to bend the hanger back, think it was at least as bad as that. Take it to a reputable shop used to working with steel or a steel frame builder.

This happened to a mate the other day, on his old 10spd falcon. We did a really botchy job of bending the dropout/hanger back again. I wasn't sure how safe it was now - any idea how much more likely the steel is to fail now?

I couldn't definitively say for your specific situation but the Woodrup has been fine for 4 years since the incident.

After snapping the old, brittle carbon forks on my Donohue I asked Rychtarski to make me some new ones. Columbus Max tubing, 1" threadless, black paint with rainbow sparkles. Just got these (not great) photos from Tomasz, so excited to get the forks and start riding the Donohue again!

Good to know. I was hoping that the rather 'agricultural' construction of his frame would mean it's pretty resilient.

While I'm here, can anyone give recommendations for a black, 90mm, 0° stem that's nice and slim looking? 1" or 1 1/8" are both fine. The one I have at the moment looks quite bulky (probably doesn't help that it's so short).

Damn, those are nice

Sweet forks bro.
What bar clamp?

Is there anything that fits the bill in 31.8mm? If not 26.8 or 27mm would be ok as well.

vv nice!
I like tig steel threadless stems, FRM aluminium ones look less bulky than the norm as well.

And does it have to be 0?
Wait what?
