This happened to a mate the other day, on his old 10spd falcon. We did a really botchy job of bending the dropout/hanger back again. I wasn't sure how safe it was now - any idea how much more likely the steel is to fail now?
I couldn't definitively say for your specific situation but the Woodrup has been fine for 4 years since the incident.
Good to know. I was hoping that the rather 'agricultural' construction of his frame would mean it's pretty resilient.
