I'm here too & on that fb group. living on Perth Rd. Bought a wreck in 2014 and still living in a building site...
Occasionally chime in with pro MH posts. The folk who post a lot on that group are a decent bunch who care about the neighbourhood, don't be too harsh on them. Fear of change is a natural emotion. Malcolm the pub landlord is a local legend, along with his wife Rita.

I didn't realise Malcolm on the group was the same as the guy from H&H. And I'd not be harsh on them. I do think they're very often wrong though, and it's better to have a polite dialogue about that than silently fuming in the background - especially when they're representing us as the 'residents association'.

ONE OF US. ONE OF US. Are you on the Lea Bridge Markhouse Road residents group on Facebook? I say join if you can - lots of anti cyclist stuff re: the cycle lanes, would definitely appreciate some backup
