While hovercraft are indeed impressive.
For me there lacks a direct transfer of energy that is prevalent in power boats and performance cars and planes/jets.
I mean an air boat is a boat pushed by air right?
Maybe somebody needs to make a nuts jet engine (not propeller) powered version but I think there is a problem with surface tension and hydrodynamic speed using an inflatable air cushion?
