It all started when a bike shop charged me £15 to true one wheel...
Then I bought a trueing stand to do it myself and started changing rims / hubs when needed.
I have a bit of time between deliveries so I have been saving wheels, one at the time!
I have only been doing track wheels so the next step is road wheels.

Hi all,
I have a used clincher wheelset going spare - I have just rebuilt it so it is true and ready to roll!
Rims are Velocity Deep V 700c - 32h front and 36h rear. They were originally blue and orange but I sandblasted them. You could polish them to a mirror shine. The rear one had a dent which I have straightened.
Rims:
*This rim is the jack-of-all-trades. The deep section creates strength, aerodynamics and durability.
Use it for training, racing, commuting, touring, track bikes or anything else you can think of. If you want one rim that can do it all, this is the one.

Hubs:
Hubs are System EX track hubs with sealed bearings. Standard spacing 100mm front (silver hub) and 120mm rear (black hub).
Double fixed rear, fitted with a 17t used chrome sprocket & new Planet X lockring. New track nuts at the rear.
Nipples are brand new. Spokes are used double butted. Laced 1x at the front and 3x at the back. Back wheel has 6 black spokes which I fitted symmetrically.
New Lifeline rim tape, new inner tubes and good used Continental GatorHardshell Road Tyre in 700c x 25mm (retail at £30 each).
All in, a decent used wheelset!
I am after sold for £70for the complete wheelset, which isn't bad at all considering the price of the tyres...
