Bought Necropolis. Seems fun so far, although not too much of a challenge if you've played Dark Souls. Still only made it three levels so far though. Seems varied enough so far, but time will tell if there is enough for longevity. Good for £10 though

Sorry, doesn't make any sense. Playstation convention is that X is confirm and O cancel.
Playstation games in the west have that convention, but it's the other way round in Japan. Usually when Japanese games get localised for the west they switch this around, but sometimes they don't, which is a pain in the arse.
I expect this is the case with Zelda.

Always remember Metal Gear Solid II and III being 0 to confirm. Drove me crazy.

Same with the Ridge Racer games.

That's bonkers. I stand corrected, thanks.

Zelda, so is it a thing that the exact second you need to do something that involves there being no rain it fucking rains for the next 2 days? because every single thing i've done in the last 2 hours of gameplay has been fucked by rain.

thinking about the controller issue they could literally release the western controller with the x/y and a/b buttons reversed and it would be fine. at present though they move l-r in reverse alphabetical order which is ridiculous.

Rain is super annoying, especially when you want to climb somewhere, and there's nothing which lets you climb in the rain - no frogsuit, no magic rain-climbing potion, nothing.
If I get super annoyed I either go and make a cuppa, or light a fire and sit by it until nighttime.

there's a cliff you might want to climb where it'll rain all the time until you clear the shrine at the top, so you'll have to go the long way round.
also, weather can be hyper-local, so you sometimes you don't have to move far in either direction to move to the next 'tile' and experience glorious sun. -

Free patch but Necromancer is paid DLC
Sorry, doesn't make any sense. Playstation convention is that X is confirm and O cancel.
Sony and Nintendo simply do things the opposite way round, which is very annoying. I've put about 40 hours in to BotW on the Switch and am still getting it wrong.
Think @HatBeard might have the blame the wrong way round tho'. The PS controller was largely inspired by the SNES so the whole thing could be Sony's fault.
