Okay, mine had to go sideways by about 11mm. It took me quite a while to do it ... after each adjustment reassembling and measuring. A frame builder would be in the best position to adjust forks, but as they are forks and there's no knowledge of any previous adjustments/bends, I doubt they'd want to certify or put their name to that work. I knew mine hadn't been bent before.
Ok that's really reassuring. I'm pretty handy and my dad is even more, looking at it with less pissed off eyes it doesn't look that bad, maybe 10mm out.
