Thanks I'll look them up. I went to a place in Kennington many years ago, I wonder if it's the same place.
Did something silly - i rode on a soft rear tyre yesterday. It was scary. I took corners as slow as I could and it still felt like I was drifting in a rear engined vintage sports car.In other news a friend had his Ktm stolen but who he thinks are the east end bike gangs (you know the ones ; balaclavas, no helmets and wheelies). Couple of weeks before he had a motorcycle-jack attempt.
If you're riding a ktm duke or scrambler affair take care out there please.

Got fire extinguished today. Luckily, I'm a somewhat twitchy rider and generally keep the bike in gear at lights. The covered me a bit but I just launched off, the guy next to me wasn't so lucky and went down hard.
Those Tmax's are rapid.
Went back to check on the guy and he was up and bike a-ok. Turns out they're very well organised and once broken up, they can't really accomplish much. -
Where was the bike-jack attempt Gerald?
Also - was the KTM chained up?
Mine was nicked a year ago from outside my house then used 4 months later in a smash & grab in Knightsbridge - was a 950 SM which I thought was the crim bike of choice (rapid enough, good two up and can climb a flight of stairs if it had to). Have replaced it with a Duke 3 which wouldn't be so great in an armed robbery but would be even more fun to ride to destruction on some wasteland...oh dear.
FWR in Kennington, always used to be good
