Canfield Jedi F1 2011 Medium downhill race frame

Not the regular frame expected to be on here, but I'm selling my downhill frame and just dropping it on here should there be any interest. Otherwise it'll be put on ebay / pinkbike later.

Canfield Jedi F1 2010 model, built in 2011 - this particular frame is one of the last to be made of the 2010 model before the redesign. The Canfield Jedi platform is widely regarded as one the best suspension systems developed for downhill racing with unique 7.75" vertical travel and 2.5" horizontal travel (feels like 10"). Superior for straight-line ploughing of rock gardens. I also believe Canfield had a very low production capacity at their factory in Bellingham, WA, U.S. with very limited annual production runs - so these are very rare in the UK and Europe.

Purchase new for £2200 with shock in 2011, medium sized suited to 5' 8" to 5' 10" (I'm 5' 10 so for my style of riding I was pushing a medium slightly). New Enduro cartidge bearings fitted last year, only 2 rides since then. All bearings and linkages working super smooth and play free. The frame is for 26" wheel sizes, 150mm rear axle spacing 12mm axle, 83mm BB shell, 30.9mm seatpost, shock spec: 8.75" x 2.75” (222mm x 70mm) includes 22mm x 8mm mounting hardware.

It's had a moderate amount of use over the last 6 years, but the condition is still excellent thanks to vinyl protection and plenty of regular maintenance and care. Anodised black finish is still excellent on the front main frame, aside from a few small chips / scratches in the anodise. However, there are some chain slap chips on the rear chain stay. Structurally the frame is perfect, no dents, cracks and perfect alignment, apart from a dent the 'F1' cut-out in the front headtube gusset, caused by the triple crown fork hitting it, a but this is only a cosmetic defect and isn't that noticeable.

Selling without the shock as I've tuned the shock specific for the 2016 Jedi which is replacing my 2010 Jedi.

Looking for £400 + £10 postage, if anyone is interested, otherwise it'll be going on Ebay and pinkbike later today.

  • Hi - am interested in the Bianchi frame - can you post to Bristol?

    Thanks

  • Pm dibs bianchi

  • I can pick up the Bianchi frame if it's possible

  • 4th dibs on Bianchi

  • Is not the same frame though, same paint scheme but not same thing.

X4 Argentin was produced on a small batch.

  • Yes you are correct, I believe the only differences between the X4 and the Mondiale is that there is extra pantographing on the BB shell, headtube and top of seat stays and Campagnolo dropouts. Whereas the Mondiale has Gipiemme dropouts

  • The more you know... didn't notice the difference since the tubing and paintscheme is the same.
