I'd be keen to try out a pair of these.
Let me know if you're putting together a set.

Hi Jim,
If they have a machine db raking surface I'll take them off your hands.
Thanks

Hey @varno.
I bought a set of wheels from you about 2 years ago. Pleased to say they're still performing fantastically despite two winters of abuse (about to go into a third).I'm putting together a new build so I'm in the market for another set but it looks like some of the rim options on the site have changed and they're a little unclear.
I'm looking for this sort of combination on the Miche hubs:
Shallow profile MACHINED front
Deeper profile NON-MACHINED rearWhich of the drop-down options are Not CNC machined? i.e. the rim surface is entirely black.
The 40mm?
Also, what depth profile is the "Unmachined" option? Thanks

I just ordered the black 40mm rear from V-sprint 2 weeks ago, it's unmachined.

I guess so, back up now!

Cool so if I can't get in contact about my order that was completed wrongly (wanted two cross front, got radial), with scratched rims, binding bearings on the rear and a cog that was not on tight enough (causing me to fall pulling away from lights) then I guess I'll just let the forum know that once you've paid, there's no communication at all.
I've tried emailing from personal email address, emailing via v-sprint website, replying to invoice email, and contacting here (leaving time to reply because of the busy holiday period) but have had nothing but silence. Emails enquiring about perchase got replied to though. -

a cog that was not on tight enough (causing me to fall pulling away from lights)
I'd always taken it that the cog was only on loose so that if you don't want it on, it's easy to get off. And why on earth would you ride something like a new wheel without checking that the cog was on tight? I'd never trust a cog and lockring that I'd not installed or checked myself.

That's a completely fair point, this is the first new wheel set I'd bought so thought that installed meant rideable.

Dunno, but if you need any after sales care or have any issue with your order then you'd be better off dealing with a brick wall
Might be selling mine if you're interested. They've not had a lot of use, and only dry miles.
cheers @varno
