Master I picked up has a braze on number attachment. Does anyone know anything about this? Was it an added extra or do some Masters come with it?

Back then it was rather easy to order a "bespoke" bike at Colnago. Chromed stays, racenumber attachments or whatsoever on a frame that didn't have these according to the catalog, it all was possible. You just had to ask the distributor and he called Ernesto.

I've been meaning to put up a pic for ages of my Master Piu - I think it's a '92 frame.
Alloy Record 10 speed chainset, levers and gears, it usually has Record wheels with Ambrosio rims and Veloflex tyres. Cinelli Exa bars to match the crimped tubing. C Record seatpost and old-style Super Record brake callipers - so a mix and match of modern and period parts, which I think works well.
Apologies for the commuting pedals!

You make it sound like you're some kind of oracle that people make pilgrimage to and not just another casual bod on an internet forum with a known fetish for Colnagos.
.
Not my words, the wise words of @übé®_grübé®
But sums up the post above perfectly.

^ditto that
Busy riding (and sweating). Makes all those hours spend building up bikes over the winter all worthwhile. -

Nothing much new to speak of bar a couple of early 2000s bikes. I've run out of room and have come to a point where something would have to sell to make way for something new but I don't think I could let anything go.
Mostly I've been sourcing and swapping out parts trying to get stuff bang on.
Still one little space saved for a saronni red super pista mind you. One day I will surely find a frame/bike I can buy.

Actually going back to winter there have been a few. I'll dig out some photos

I think you're right about that but in hindsight it's a good shout for those who have got them as prices are keen.
You have been busy meeting people. I'm amazed at what people have out there. I can see why though. Once upon a time I had only one bike.

Yeah wise words. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Sure do! '94 Master Olympic Deco with full 7400. Recently had some TLC including new wheels (NOS 7400 hubs on black Open Pros) because one of the hubs disintegrated, plus a new 7400 cassette and chain (also NOS).
I don't actually have anything against you (I don't know you) and I'm sure your knowledge is helpful. It's just that the whole coming back on here and playing the Messiah act really is a bit much and isn't going to endear you to anyone. A bit more self-awareness might not be a bad thing...

Narrowed this down to Friends Season 6 Episode 5 but I still have no idea what he's saying...
Dibs if you sell!
