Any UK suppliers have 'em? Google-fu is failing me.

Thanks - am I being an idiot or is there no option to 'add to basket' there?
-
• #930
Give them a call? Or Keep Pedalling in Manchester maybe. I don't think there's a uk distributor at the moment so shops are buying in direct again.

I think their basket option goes when they're out of stock.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but there is a rider (will find his name) who picked up Eric's race cap that he found on the road somewhere before the accident. He is going to carry it with him to the finish. Thought it was a nice gesture and seems like something Eric would have wanted as I read he had a deep respect for the race.

Yeah I read his post. Really sad as he found the cap and it was only when he searched the list for the owner so he could return it at the end that he found out he'd just been killed. :(

Hippy approaching the place (nr Pippa Passes) where Evan, Jon and Janie were all bitten by a dog (possibly the same dog, the owner did agree to chain it up after the third attack...)
He's already been ranting on twitter about fkndogs.

Given his recent mood, I don't rate the dog's chances.

Reading about the route, it has been a common theme in that stretch of Kentucky for years. Evan was saying
he encountered 50-80 unleashed dogs if I heard correctly. Mostly just protecting their territory. -

I want one of those for my neighbour's dog!

Same!
Annoying fucker barks whenever the owners go out -

Janie has a hundred mile gap back to 4th and she has less than a hundred miles to the finish.... Looking like a well deserved podium spot! :)
-
• #942
Where is rep button?
-
• #943
Yes, looked like 4th and 5th were working together to reel her in and she had definitely dipped, as Skinny predicted earlier.
-
• #944
To be fair, that was pre dog bite. I bet she's suffered from that, I know I would. Stupid dog, poor Janie. Nails.

Chinda David is still in Yellowstone and has done 67 miles a day at the age of 61. Chapeau. I wonder if she'll finish. @WornCleat is probably already a fan.

Since many of the frontrunners are going through Appalachia right now, I believe it is time to post a mountain song about enduring. :)

Ola Belle Reed's birthplace (Lansing, NC) isn't too far from the southernmost point of the ride.

It's David Barstow Robinson who has Eric's no.26 hat. He's at 2647 miles.

Uh-oh, Hippy's tracker has stopped here...
-
• #949
hippy tells of a 'tropical storm' brewing, hope he's found shelter somewhere.

That tropical storm is just his saddle sores back with vengeance.
