saw this frame on the bay, bit pricey but would be a sweeeeet base for an adventure build...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182569539370?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
has 26s in the pic but deff for 700s

I really must get a set of 650b wheels for my old airborne titanium.... with drops on it would be so good. If I could get a pair that convert from qr to 12mm bolt through both ends, I could use them on the sequoia too. Any cheap ones going? 👍

I hope this is a suitable thread: I'm looking for recommendations for a set of OTP 29er, 6 bolt disc, QR wheels. After something "value-for-money but not shit": the bike is mostly commuted on, but does see some occasional, not very gnarly off-road action.
My mate pinged a spoke and the rest are loose, but the alu nipples are seized: not worth getting them respoked, as the rear is actually a skinny, rim brake, road job. #thanksHalfords
TIA!

That looks lovely!
But it would look even better with a black brooks flyer and regular seatpost imo. -

V. nice! Similar to what I'm trying for with n+1, but not sure if I'll have tyre clearance.

A belated thanks, but he's getting a new bike now instead of new wheels.

Decided to stop fucking around and get some winter tyres on El Wolveur
Feeling rather smug that I managed to mount the tyres tubeless, without any swearing or mess.
I know this thread is all about slammed stems and pristine photography so I give to you:
