I've had that this week, so I refunded the buyer and said either gift it or pay the fee your end.
Seller has gone cold so I can only guess he either doesn't trust me or didn't fancy paying an additional £2.72 - oh well...
Either way, I don't agree that the buyer on LFGSS (L stands for London BTW) should be obliged to take a hit on something because the seller who doesn't live in the L wants access to this local gold mine of good deals, and then wants it posted.
Factoring in my time, after going to the flipping post office, I should add £50 to the cost. Buyers should appreciate that sellers (most of us) offering postage services are not profiteering mercenaries but actually doing a favour for fellow members that they'd rather not be doing.
The very least they can do is suck up the 3.4% + 20p
Can we have a rule if it doesn't already exist somewhere, that sellers must not demand paypal fees be payed by the buyer. the cost of using paypal should remain with the seller as paypal intends and buyers shouldn't be forced to pay extra just to ensure they're not getting ripped off.
I thought this was in the rules already but can't spot it now
