If anyone else is fitting a brake to a Cinelli Mash Work 2017, learn from my experience!
The brake drop appears to be 73mm measured directly, but when using a Dia Compe 57mm-75mm caliper (the Dia Compe 806) the actual grab point is right up at the very top at around the 60mm mark.
So I think you could get away with using standard longish reach calipers rather than having to order in extra long ones as I did.

Almost finished building this bad boy, haven't done more than like 10 miles on it yet but loving it so far!

Ah thanks man, great for skidding

If you lean over your handlebars, it doesn't count

Bollocks. Better go and put the clipless on then

Just waiting for them to arrive my man don't worry

My mash has gone walkabout.
If anyone sees a parallax without the classic dent but with a 55t zen and a corima, whack a lock on it.

Shit. Where was it taken?

Richmond Road in Hackney. Left it for 40 minutes while I was in the GP and it was gone. Done the lock with a serious angle grinder too...
Poor thing. I've had some parts on that for more than a decade.
-
• #3964
Well there's a few standout parts on it so shouldn't be hard to spot if it ever goes online. Get round the markets etc though
-
• #3965
Yeah it's very distinctive. I'll keep an eye out. If I see any cunt riding it I'll stick a lock on him.
-
• #3966
Shit mate, quite an unique bike will try to keep an eye out for it when/if I'm in town. Can't imagine a lot of people to be riding around 55t brakeslee fixie at ease tbh.

Ah no, mark was telling me about this yesterday. Sorry to hear that. Out of interest what lock was it?
-
• #3968
Kryptonite mini D round the frame and rear wheel to a metal railing. They used a cabled angle grinder. I've got the lock, it's cut through butter smooth, not even burred the edges.
Not much anything could have done to stop that. Tooled up to the max.

Where was the railing? Reckon it was a pissed off shop owner or something?
-
• #3970
It was locked to the railings of my GP, so no. I suspect the building renovation across the road.
-
• #3971
such bullshit.
-
• #3972
GP surely has external cctv?
-
• #3973
These fit down pants no prob.
-
• #3974
Yep, they're checking to see if anything is on it.

I guess it must do, have run 25s on this before the room has been comfortable. Mine's a 2013 MASH Bolt if that helps.
With regard to the headset ring, I replaced the headset in mine the other week & it came with a similar ring. Without it, it had a fair bit of wobble - I think it helped compress the top fairing down on the inner ring thing on the bearing cartridge. I'm no expert though.
