To pack out the space between the coins on the lower run, I just used a few brake washers which nested tidily at exactly the right length (none of that Sheldon non-parallel crap). And now my medium drop 105's fit perfectly. If I didn't have the dropbolt, I'd have had to use those fugly long drop dual pivot monstrosities, and the Supercorsa would have none of that.

Assuming you're not making an anti-royalist jest... It all depends on how far you want the drop to go. I was a bit haphazard because it was an experiment. If I were doing it now, I'd get accurate measurements and use a punch to start off the drilling point.
I think I'd also try to get an oldish period correct Italian coin for authentix and Brexit antidote :¬)
Actually, that Italian coin thing is a stroke of genius. Will investigate further.

Been trying to figure out an innovative solution to this gnarly challenge - I didn't want to recreate Sheldon's bodge.
Anyhow, despite scrabbling around in the garage and my boxes full of shit over the last couple of days, nothing seemed suitable. Until... pulled some change out of my pocket to buy some unpasteurised goats milk and fuck me, there was the answer. A pair of fifty pence pieces said to me "make us into a classy drop bolt".
And that's what I did, breaking a drill bit in the process, but what the hell. Just thought I'd let you know cos there are quite a few "wanted" posts about it here, and I think it looks well minty. Seriously simple to do. Some pics to feast upon.
