Help ! I've bought a track bike - What do I do now

This bike is looking to be damn nice. I vote gumwalls.

And look into clamp-on rear breackes, might handle a bit nicer if a front braek makes your forks do that scary flexy thing with a front clamp-on.

And don't forget breyks ar deth

Take a look athose photos...

• First is Moser with his track bike (the small photo). As you can see he uses a pista stem without panto.
  

• Second is a Benotto track bike (of Moser) from the Trevisan's collection. The stem is a beautiful fake. There is not an original panto pista stem.
  

• Third e fourth are two Pista with corsa panto stem and pista stem... The panto stem is beautifil but pista stem is another planet!!!

Yes it's not Pista but it is mounted on a pista bike (belonged to Moser). So the problem is double: fake panto e corsa stem on a bike belonged to Moser. Moser uses pista stem.

google translate is not so efficient ;-) I think pista stem gives the right look.

@Lesente, Thanks for the further photos. For now I will use one of the panto stems in the thread.
A nice pista stem would be great but they cost a lot of money.

Very nice :) What pista stem would be period correct for my build ?

I think a model 2 or 3 3TTT stem is perfect.

I'll start looking :)

Sanded and polished the 3ttt stem a bit as the finish was a bit rough in places and a bit of paint in the panto.

Do I go with the Record chainset as I have record wheels?

I've also found a filthy pair of Campagnolo 1038/a, Record Pista Superleggari (SL) I think? and have begun to clean them up and they look quite good -
