The headtube of my bike makes cracking noises sometimes when I turn the bar and turn it back the other way. I suspect it's because I forgot this while installing the headset. Where does it go? It's a regular 1 1/8" integrated Columbus headset.

I need a similar front brake cable hanger reflector bracket for my Weinmann brakes.
Any ideas? I only find normal adjustable cable hangers without the option for a reflector mount.

I have now finished building the Affinity Lo Pro and it is definitely too big.
Surely you mean it's too small?
-

I am too small for it.
The frame is too big for me.I can ride it with the seatpost lowered by 5-6cm and would need a 70/80mm stem with risers.
Or an Affinity Lo Pro in my size ;-)I have set it up so it looks nice for the pictures...

I would have thought you could adapt one of the Dia-Compe headset cable hangers - IIRC the cable adjuster has a locknut you could fit some kind of reflector bracket under. I wouldn't want to fit a light like that, but a reflector should be fine.

I have a cable hanger similar to the Dia-Compe and thought about attaching the reflector there but it's not the ideal solution. However I cant find such brackets as posted in my first picture.

What's that seatpost?
-
• #115140
It is a Shimano PRO seatpost in carbon.
Initially bought for my Sunday best bike, it is unfortunately too short at 280mm. #CSB
The clamping system isn't straightforward and I have rounded out one of the bolts. I also couldn't fit a saddle with carbon oval rails, although the seatpost came with two different clamps...

Anyone else had difficulty getting a quill stem round the bend on compact drops?
Yes, almost everybody. Handlebars made when closed bar clamps were current technology had much larger bend radii.

Crossposting cause of fuming: I bought a Praxisworks BB just to get not have the hassle when fitting it; errrr wrong. The fitment on the plastic PF30 holder is to tight for the lip inside the frame. It wont go past it. I'm fuming.
Any tips on how to sort this? I have greased to kingdom come.
Would a taper not be self-leveling
