Cloudwater IIPA Centennial not as 'big' or cloudy (dank?) as some of the recent ones. Result is very easily drinkable, would be easy to get messy on a few.

I know it's not the best beer in the world, but Tesco now do the 660ml bottles of Punk IPA- 3 4 £5- Tramp Maths on that is ridiculous.

Just buy they franzika wheat instead. Or the vocation? Or the ghost ship?
-
• #6333
Yeah the vocation stuff is good, as is the dales pale. But, you get 2x as much in those big bottles. TRAMP MATHS.

Similar things happen with InBev and hops in South Africa. It's defo a worry for small breweries.

Brewdog AV:22 is really nice. Speyside barrels.

Fuckinhell. Am looking after the baby tonight and have a gig tomorrow so despite today being shit and having a day off work tomorrow wasn't going to drink. Fortune intervened when I missed my train and had half hour to kill in St Pancras so decided to have a swift half at the beer shop thing there and got a traveller for the hour and 10 min ride home. Then, sobriety, baby bath time and stories before bed etc.
Had some sort of rather pungent and overly hoppy IPA then bought a little bottle of Sierra Nevada for the train. Opened that about halfway home and had a sip or two whilst looking out the window and listening to a podcast. About 10 mins later notice the guy sat next to me making no attempt to hide his texting, in giant old-man font:
"Why do I seem to draw plebs... Guy sat next to me has an obvious drinking problem. Stinks of beer and just opened another one... I mean it's only a 35 minute journey... Why can't he wait till he gets home like everyone else..."
At which point I tapped him on the shoulder and said, "You do realise I can see that right?"
Ffffffff....

My next door neighbour works at the Shepherd Neame brewery here in Faversham and just have me the staff discount! Works out just a shade over £1 a pint for a 17 pint polypin.
