  • I have just received this please share
Good morning all. Theresa May hasn't called a National minutes silence for the victims of Grenfell fire.

Dawn Butler, Shadow Minister for Diverse Communities has asked that we hold one tomorrow 11am to remember all the victims involved in the incident.

Please forward this message to all all your contacts and post on your social media sites using the hashtag #GrenfellMinuteSilence

    Thank you

  • Obviously people should hold moments of remembrance whenever they feel appropriate. But is it an omission/failing to have not called one yet? I don't know when these things are usually announced but I think the minute's silence after Manchester bombing was two weeks after. There is something moving about having it nationally held everywhere - radio etc. I noticed it was being displayed on the bus information screens on the way in that morning.
