Ok. I rode a Surly Steamroller for 12 years. It was the perfect fit, never went wrong, could be locked outside the pub and looked great. Then I had two children and sold it thinking I must get a more grown up bike. I bought a Cotic Roadrat and it doesn't suit me at all.
I have regressed and want a new fixed...
I am in the process of buying a black Steamroller frame. I want to kit it out in a low-key but high quality sort of a way. All black, with as few decals etc as possible.
I'm looking for the following, all in good nick:
Black 700c fixed wheelset (previous was Phil Wood/Open pros) and black 700 slicks
Black track crankset and 44t chainring
Black 27.2 seatpost
Black flite or similar saddle
Short black stem (1 1/8 ahead)
15t dura ace or similar fixed sprocket
Black Airwing or similar bars
I'm in Haringey, North London, and work near the Angel, but also happy to do things by post too.
