I don't think I was proclaiming their coolness. Just trying to defend them a little from the constant "crit"/cret bike label you've given them as an apparent negative label.
Sure, they might not be the most hhsb of builds these days, but some do tick more hip-hop boxes than most other race bikes out there and they shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush in my opinion.
We can all see that you don't particularly like them, it doesn't mean other people can't post them. This thread was setup as an alternative from the bike porn thread.

If people have been riding/skidding/pissing about for however long on bikes and want to test the waters on the track/crit circuit, that's awesome. A route into grassroots competitive cycling which isn't racing in lycra in a club when you're 12.
