Help please, snaped up a panasonic rs457s radio/tape boombox for cheaps. Needs a service, would like to try it out but dont know what power lead. Can any one shed some light on what type of lead i need.

Hmm... You could try some CB power leads. Might be worth asking the seller for a measurement?

Before I pop this up for sale is anyone interested in a Denon dm39DAB amp/cd/tuner all in one unit? It sounds impressive for it's size and well reviewed. Perfect for a second system & plays nicely with spotify/apple via usb.

it's a firebottle plus (mm, but can be fettle to include mc by the maker. he's a great guy - i have one of his dual mono hybrid power amps).

it is excellent. i now have a croft preamp, so i use the phono in that. it's not as good as the fb, but it isn't far off.

Well I'd come just to have a listen to another decent system! I'll bring some vinyl and a pipe but I wouldn't have a reference point until I heard it on my own system. :)

Where are you? If you want to come and sell it to me in person you can a/b it on my systems as well. Any excuse for an extended vinyl listening session really.
