Did everyone here just not get into Horizon: Zero Dawn - I feel like it's kind of conspicuous in it's absence of recommendations. Great game imo.

I cannot git gud at Bloodborne, no matter how much I try.
I have beaten Dark Souls 3 on NG++ so I should be ok with the mechanics but something isn't clicking for me.
Need to go back at some point.

Horizon is on my radar, it's 25£ in Tesco but out of stock everywhere. I also want WipeOut omega collection and Tekken 7 (they are 2 games my wife likes, so hoping she might pick them up)

Exactly why I've been avoiding Uncharted. It just reminds me of The Last Of Us but without that story / acting - I don't want it spoiled. Which is mental because it might even be as good. But goddamn.

Tell you what, if you Last of Us I'll Uncharted and we can both do our part for bringing humanities different tribes together. Should I start with Uncharted 4?

Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 are both Microsoft 1st party. They'll never come to PS4....

I'm mostly excited for Monster Hunter World

It took me an age to get out of the bad habit of turtling and slightly less bad habit of relying on doges from DS.

You have to accept you are going to get hit by things, and instead of a doge, think of it as a step to position yourself, and using it to avoid heavy attacks, and then counter-punch

What weapon did you start with? I think I tried all three but found the axe to be significantly more forgiving off the three

Think I'm going to restart with an axe.
I also restarted DS3 on a NG to play as a sorcerer and I'm struggling to get beyond the Curse rotted tree. Perseverance!

Hell yeah. CTR required.

Not zombies, infected.

Also, better than Uncharted 4 in almost every respect. I didn't think twice about buying the PS4 version despite having played it through twice on PS3. Graphics betray the previous-gen origins, but it hardly matters.

I played a couple hours of last of us. Gameplay was shit.

Yeah definitely worth trying the Axe.

I played similar to my D1 character - just enough strength to wield heavy weapons effectively, then everything else into stamina and equip load so that I could still move about effectively

anyone else playing Prey? Haven't enjoyed a game this much in a while.

Deleted the demo yesterday after playing it for 10mins.

Sold the surplus one within 10 mins of listing it on Gumtree back when they came out.

Would recommend getting one btw. Play it more than my pc and xbox put together....

And Rocket League is on it's way to the Switch also.
